Well my rear locker wasnt working, needed a bunch of work. Bearing was s***, one of capacitors was broke off, blah blah. Well that's all replaced; but the bi directional spring is what I need help with . The whole assembly turns , but is the whole unit supposed to turn or is there supposed to be spring action ? Both gears and springs pivot together inside of the cover with the stops , are they supposed to be able to spin freely of each other ? Top small gear hasn't been pulled off yet. Everything else has been done, i.e, cases cleaned , worm gear and bearing cleaned and replaced, the only thing holding me up is the bi directional spring and how it works .
