FJ80 - Transmission Jack or Engine Hoist? (1 Viewer)

Howdy - doing my first transmission swap on my 92 LC. It's an auto A440F. Should I be trying to do it with an engine hoist, or transmission jack?

transmission jack if you have a lift. ive only use an engine hoist when i put my trans and dual cases in my pickup in my driveway. pass. door off and down through the shifter holes. hoist made things really easy to line up.

Howdy, I'll be using jack stands. That being said, What do you think? Transmission Jack, or Engine Hoist?

Hi - I'm looking for more opinions on whether I should use a transmission jack, or engine hoist to replace my auto transmission (using jack stands) on my 92 Landcruiser... what say y'all?
