Hello guys,

Yesterday I arrived home to find the rear hatch glass on the 80 smashed. No possible way to repair. I scooped what I could, tarped it and took it to a friend's house in the suburbs.

I am looking for ideas on how:

a) where to source glass from
b) has anyone installed the rear glass - any tips or advice
c) does anyone know an installer for this type of stuff.

Can't help you with sourcing, but if you find one between Calgary and Edmonton, I'll be doing the QEII on Friday and could give one a ride.

thanks brother. I'll let you know!

buy some plastic trim removal tools, will help with removing the window gaskets and not marking everything up.
Oh and don't drop the glass :D

maybe I should take it as a sign to cut the back up.

I have both of these sets.
6 pc Non-Marring Pry and Trim Tools | Princess Auto
6 pc. Mini Panel Removal Tool Set | Princess Auto

I did both rear side windows with the red set and they worked awesome, did Dean's rear window get messed up in the accident?

I'm digging the aluminum bed, but thats about it hah.

His rear window did not get damaged in the accident, I spoke to him about it, tbd.

In any case, if anyone has a lead on the rear window, please let me know.
