About to attempt the first XMSN flush on our 88. Not knowing the history of the xmsn and wanting to switch over to AMSOIL synthetic so figured I would do the full flush. Am planning to do the Rodney flush and read in another post that you don't have to drop the front axle if you access the cooler line closer to the radiator... can someone post a pic of what line they're referring to or a description - so I don't have to drop the axle... thanks

Question I have is should I drop the pan or just drain from the plug? I searched and haven't found the answer as to if you use toyota's FIPG or a gasket kit for putting the pan back on... I'd prefer to use the FIPG as I have some on hand.

Thanks

changing the filter? you'll need to drop the pan for that.

I like removing the pan to make sure all stuff is out that didn't drain out the hole.
