FJ62 Vacuum hose questions

Going to replace all of the hose with silicone, but I have a couple of questions. I have searched the board, but can only find answers for FJ60's, and am not sure if the answer is the same for my 1990 FJ62:

1. Do you order the hose by inside or outside diameter, and what sizes do I need?

2. How many feet of each?

I always go by the inside diameter. I think that is the rule of thumb anyway but my reasoning is some manufactures are thicker than others i have found.

ooooh i forgot...but i remeber buying two different sizes from mcmaster carr, and it's really good stuff.

i think i remember buying 35 or so in the small stuff and 6 or so in the bigger.....but i'm still not sure.....but i'ts good to have extra.

get the black silicone from mcmaster - much cheaper!
