FJ62 Shift Knob

Just bought an FJ62 and the gear selector knob came like this. The previous owner jerry rigged the knob so that it physically goes up and down on the lever to disengage the lockout. Anyone ever run into an issue like this or have an assembly that’s in good shape? Is it even possible to disassemble the knob so that I can put a button in? The knobs for sale online aren’t in as good of shape and have cracks on them. Any help is much appreciated.

Easy disassembly. Combine the best parts from the two shifters until you get what you want.
