Gents, he made it home just fine. Scrutinized the truck to the best of his abilities. T case does NOT have atf in it. It was overfilled in some fashion, no idea how. The transmission does have a small leak somewhere indeed. The t-case was found to leak at the idler shaft past the o ring. After thorough cleaning and driving the truck, it clearly shows where the gear oil is leaking. Other than that, still in the diagnosing phase. I told him to get on here and become a member. He loves the truck and is super happy with it. Thank you all for all your help.
