Just had my 62 painted two tone in Heath Gray and off-white, kinda like the 40's.

I look at the picture of the rear with the liftgate, and keep thinking "Business in the front, paaaaaarrtyy in the back"... looks good though! Definitely goes with the wheels/hubcap combo!

Maybe it's me but I think continuing with the gray on the lower part of the lift gate would look cleaner. There just seems to be an interruption in the paint. Overall nice retro look.

Yes, I agree. We went back and forth over whether to keep the gray at the same level all around. Body shop was also pushing hard to paint the front hood white as well, but I didn't go for that. Was inspired by the 40 in the same colors I saw here a while back that had been restored and for sale.
