FJ62 Matte/ Satin paint jobs (1 Viewer)

I am almost finished sanding and prepping my 1990 FJ62. I am going to keep in the original 4G8 color but thinking about painting it a Satin or Matte finish. I have spent a ton of time prepping and what to make sure I make the correct choice. There are a lot of older cruisers that are painted flat, but I haven't see too many 60/62's done. If anyone has any photos or advice it would be greatly appreciated!

I love the idea of a satin finish, some colors look better than others though IMO. If my dark gray ever gets repainted (prob never) it is getting a muted finish.
Although the natural mange and weathered patina taking over are beginning to achieve the same desired effect.
