fj62 leaf springs on an fj 40

I replaced the stock springs on my fj62 with OME springs and was wondering if the jf62 springs could be rearched and used on my 79 fj40 to gve it some lift. They are several inches longer then the stock fj40 springs.

Any thoughts appreiciated. Thanks
