fj62 hand throttle (1 Viewer)

i searched and read through a few posts on hand throttles but couldnt find what im looking for

question is what rpms does the hand throttle usually get to, on my 89 fj62, fully pulled out is only at 13-1400 rpm, is this normal and if not, can I do any adjustments to it

I think mine reaches around 2. Havent really looked at it but I am sure it can be adjusted. I was thinking a cruise control, not very safe but along the highway might be all right.

i wasnt really planning to use it as a cruise control, just working out the kinks in my cruiser and was curious able my hand throttle

My old 62 would reach about 1500-1800 rpms max. But never found
a reason or need to ever use it....
