FJ62 Cold Start Injector Timing Switch wrench size (1 Viewer)

FJ62ers, i received my replacement timing switch and connector kit from City Racer today. The new switch is definitely a 22mm, however the switch currently installed is not the same size.

Does this mean this is a previous swap that is not a FJ62 switch. I thought all of these timing switches (original and new replacement) were 22 mm.

Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have a picture comparing the two? My first assumption would be that the currently installed one is aftermarket (as long as we know for sure that the new one is OEM; which if it came from City Racer I expect it is). Curious how much of a size difference it is.

I cant get a good measurement on the installed one, but i'm guessing it could be a 1.0 inch or 25mm

I got a adjustable on it and measured the width at 1.0 inch so its probably a 25MM

TOYOTA does not use a 25mm hex on any parts especially the thermal time switch 88462-20040

It was a 15/16 size on the old switch and a 22mm on the new switch.
