Fj62 alarm and door actuators (1 Viewer)

Guys I’m in need of an alarm, any suggestions? I was thinking of a gpa type but don’t want the monthly expense for tracking..

Also my doors are manual so I was thinking of adding actuators.. has anyone done this mod? It seems there are not a lot of references of this on the forum I could find.

If anyone has attempted, I would like to hear/read about it. Btw, I found a seal on the b pillar and all I have to do is drill and grommet the rear door for the wiring..

IMO, noisy alarms are a waste of time. I would look into devious ignition kill switches and a club. Maybe a fuel cut-off, too. Why not tap your alarm into the dome light circuit, since all the doors are already wired for that?

I agree about not wanting a monthly 'tracking' expense.
