fj60 won't start (1 Viewer)

i parked it a while back. then replaced power steering pump and alternator. started it up and moved it. yesterday charged the battery and went to start it today...

nothing, not turning over, no noise at all except for faint clicking in dash when key is not turned forward. battery showed 12v last night at local shop and load tested ok.

any and all advice appreciated. sorry that i don't know much about this stuff.

i think that clicking means dead battery.

i just re-read your post. it clicks when key is just inserted but not turned? i remember hearing something about lights and clicking. maybe you left something on that drained the battery

i cleaned the battery posts and cables and it fired right up

Ground... on the block or at the battery. Terminal oculd be cleaned and jellied.
