FJ60 vs FJ62 heater core, ac box and fan box (1 Viewer)

I was wondering if the heater core box,ac box and the fan box located near the floor under the dash are the same for fj60 vs fj62.

I kinda don't think so, just based on trying to fit the 62's EFI harness into the 60.

But HOW different, I know not.

Physical dimensions and such I think they are the same. Wiring plugs may be different. AC amplifier between 60 and 62 is different. I've stripped down a couple of 62s and a few 60s but never set these components side by side to compare.

I have used a 60 heater core in my 62 and it was a direct bolt in, no problems.

thanks for all the responses ... I changed from a fj60 dash to a fj62 dash and was wondering if i just need the different duct work to get all the vents attached or if the whole area where it attaches was also different. sounds like the different size duct pieces might work
