FJ60 Intake & Exaust Manifold on 40? (1 Viewer)

Has anyone put a FJ60 manifold on their FJ40? If so, did you have to do anything special with all the other junk on it?

What engine/year are you working on?


Are you looking at keeping smog equipment?


What are you trying to do?

The mainfolds from a FJ-60 2F engine will bolt up to a 1977 2F, no problem.


If you are not concerned about smog issues, then make an EGR block-off plate for the intake, and one for the exaust mainfold, and run it.

Thanks I was planning on keeping the smog stuff because its working fine. My intake is cracked so I figured I would replace with a newer one.
