Any issues dropping the engine/tranny/tcase from a 1987 FJ60 into my 1971 FJ40? I was going to drop the master cylinder and slave cylinder in too. Please tell me if I am smoking crack.
Loosing the e-brake is keeping me from doing it (you can get around that with an t-case e-brake setup for the split case from SOR for nearly $500)! Depends on whether you've got nasty "Safety Nazi's" lurking at every street corner like we do here in B.C.
Doing line locks. Most folks here dont even know what a tcase brake is, for that matter looks like Hoping I am in the clear with this spur of the moment idea.
