Just wondering if anyone out there has had the same problem. I've had my 60 for over 25 years, and it just started backing off enough to make it whistle when driving. Any quick hacks out there for this problem? Thanks.
You could pull the door panel and see if the regulator needs to be adjusted.. there are a few bolts in the interior facing side of the door panel that hold the regulator in place. You may be able to loosen and adjust the regulator positioning so that is closes right. Otherwise sounds like the regulator may be bad
I agree with OSS, worn regulators=sagging windows. And fwiw, my aftermarket regulators were almost as hard to roll up as the old ones. 6months later I was replacing them with OEM. OEM Toyota is the way to go.
I bought 4 Toyota oems and my rears are still tough to roll up. All new runs etc. also my front one has similar issue so might just need adjustment....
