My 1987 FJ60 has had a small dieseling issue for over a year now. It try’s to keep running for 5-10 seconds after I turn it off. I went to check the anti dieseling solenoid that connects to the carb and saw that the wire that it plugs into was completely cut and the rest is missing. Anyone know where that wire connects too? I can buy a new/used one just not sure where it plugs in.

The cut end should be in the wire bundle running along the left wheel well in the engine compartment. Look for it. When the ignition key is turned ON, that wire will get 12V. When/if you find it, add an extension to it.

Thanks I’ll take a look. The entire assembly is pretty dry and brittle I’ll prob need a new one.
