Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone has put fj55 springs over on the front of a 40 that has 55 springs over in the rear. And if so what kind of problems or bonuses am I going to run into. Will I add to the frame to compensate for the longer spring. Also I will be performing a shackle reversal on the front.

my setup exactly...FJ55 rear packs at all 4 corners.
With the shackle reversal, your axle position won't change much/at all, but you "must" recess the shackle into the frame...basically, it ends up ~3" further back down the frame rail.
I added a leaf as well, FJ55 packs are soft. My fronts have 9 leaves.
I did move my axle 1.5" forward by redrilling my perches and my reversal setup moved it about .5" forward already.
