Still waiting for Covid nightmare shop to be finished! Updates on that page also. Sorry no fj55 — holding pattern

That looks to be a special floor surface. I have always wanted a super clean floor, but I have thought that welding would just wreck any surface I put on.
What are you working with?
Epoxy floor coating - lots of flakes! The top coat has that sand grit traction stuff. No sliding here.. goodbye knee caps if you fall! I will be doing normal metal shop stuff. Already welded the shop fan motor bracket and the embers / sparks just danced across the surface. Time will tell, it’s the Covid nightmare build in the garage section. Still working on the setup. While wifey ( what the heck is with the Y chromosome that makes them want to sell old stuff?) anyhoo shop it setup for a yard sale barn for the next couple weekends as the extended family unloaded stuff.

Pretty sure we're following along for the ride, toyota or no, so just keep plugging and we'll keep reading.

100 series new brake pads // passenger cv axle swap, checked the drivers side when the PO had it replaced. Yeah, none of the tabs are bent. Then a swap out on the 3500 ram - steering bits. And a piece of wood to keep the floor looking pretty!

Still having gotten to the FJ55, the 100 series has been the main focus for the KAT next month. The trans is still out on the FJ40. Decided to attempt the rebuild by myself for the 700r4. It’s not going great, learning and doing at the same time is slow. Have a 4 runner body swap and motor swap next up in the shop. After that then the Pig comes home.
