fj55 conversion to V-8/Automatic

I've recently purchased an fj55 and need advice on converting to v-8. I'm considering a GM 350 coupled to a 700R4 using Advanced Adaptors. Anyone done this? I see a lot of info. on 40's not much on 55's. I'm in southern Cal.
