    Busted!

But seriously, am I smoking crack, on the opening bid amount, or do people just wait till the last 10 seconds of the auction to enter a bid? I thought I'd get more hits and questions by now. I guess I should have put it in the classifieds here first. That's probably where it will go if it doesn't sell on Ebay.

    A few thoughts:
Filter/dryer will need to be replaced
Even money the compressor will need to be replaced
Hoses should be OK as will be the condenser/evaporator; if not, they can be used a templates for new AFTM replacements.

The overall cost for the installer will be about the same as a Vintage Air FJ55 set up.

One thing I have found is that FJ55 OEM AC are much easier to find than FJ40 OEM ACs.

I dont really know what it is worth but I will pay $500 for it as it sits. Good luck but you really should keep it:)

like David mentions, the demand for OEM fj40 AC is MUCH higher than fj55..........I would be suprised if ya got $500 for it. OEM ND fj40 "if" complete(and ya need looks of little bits to do it right) will sell for $700-1000

actually, it's r12 so hoses should be replaced as r134 will leak out of the old hoses...also would need a retro kit to go to 134
