I just pulled the cap yesterday and its just 12 bolts around the top inside of the cab back and sides plus two bolts by the top of b pillar. Only caveat is I don't believe my top is OEM. Perhaps a gozzard fiberglass cap. I also did not have any connections bw the cap and windshield frame or the piece between the two shown in the SOR diagrams.
Removing as above left the two upper runners attached to the cap. To remove those from the cap it looks like you have to remove 3 Allen head bolts on each side so you can access the nuts to hold while Un bolting from above the lip as you did to remove the top from back panel. HTH.
I would give the bolts a dose of penertrating oil a few days before you start removing the roof. I would use plenty of WD40 as I work the bolts in and out trying not to snap the bolt in half from rust jamming the thread.
Take your time getting them out.
Good Luck
If your just trying to remove the top in one piece
Unlatch front and rear latches
Remove one screw either side (where top meets windshield in corners) sometimes easier to remove the two screws that mount inside top corner of windshield
Back off screws on door jam catches....
