Jeremiah, your 40 is sweet. I had the same issue on m Asian carb on my 60. After a rebuild , it ran like a champ. Just got old and needed fresh parts in the carb. Don't know if that's your issue but that helped me.

I appreciate all of your input and will keep you posted. Thanks for the compliment. I love this thing. People with jeeps snub me. I laugh at them. I am wanting to convert to disc brakes and put a high steer kit on her. I kinda need a little ster in the right direction for that too......

You came to the right place. everything you need to know is right here. Apparently my 82 needs a carb rebuild in order to pass smog and cure the idling issues.

HELP!!!!! I bought a carb rebuild kit and it has no vacum actuator for my secondary barrel. It is the Asian carb on a 2F. It seems to be quite an obscure part and nobody sells them.
