I have a TH400 mated (AA adapter) to a 3-speed T-case, B&M Quicksilver shifter and trans cooler for sale.
$550.00 OBO.
I purchased the FJ40 last November and drove it for a week before I pulled the trans and t-case. My plan from the beginning was to install an NV4500 and Orion so someone will get a nice setup. I really don't know much about the trans and t-case but the previous owner said he installed a shift kit and the converter is a low stall converter. Shifts are positive and firm. Everything worked fine as far as I could tell.
Trans shifts fine but hits a bit hard when putting in reverse, t-case leaks from the rear seal but shifts into and out of 4WD/Hi-Lo without issues. There is a case saver on the t-case.
With this are an extra disassembled incomplete t-case, missing some internals, covers, (previous owner bought it for a spare case) and the skid plate that came off the vehicle.

I prefer local pickup but if you need it shipped, I will package everything and secure the trans to a pallet. Don't know if I can ship it with fluids in it or not, if I have to drain it, then add an additional $50 to the agreed upon price. Buyer to schedule and pay for all shipping charges.
