Hi All -

I have a question on my '70 FJ40 stock windshield wiper fluid pump. When I bought the FJ40, the pump did not work (I naturally thought it was the pump itself). After some investigating, it turns out the wiper switch needed to be wire brushed and cleaned. It now works. However, the fluid stream coming out of the nozzles is weak (i.e. it doesn't actually hit the windshield...even after some adjustment). Do you think it is the nozzles? Or maybe the switch is still slightly corroded (i.e. not enough voltage)?

Thanks for any thoughts,
Stoshzack

Seriously I would try another nozzle first before anything.

X-2 Trollole--AND--what causes a weak stream? A pinched tube, of course.-check that, too.

there may be a one way check valve with something stuck in it or failed. I know my 82 FJ40 has one in the dash box
