I was wondering if anyone has found a remedy for the soa axle wrap problem( longer or different types of leafs). I keep waffleing the leafs on the pass side 4" in front of the axle. I like the ride but dont really want to shell out the cash to link the rig. It has pretty good flex but I would love to get a little more. Getting tire of buying and changing the same pack everytime I go wheeling. Thanks

THESE HAVE WORKED GREAT FOR ME FOR YEARS AND I PLAN ON MAKIN A SET FOR THE 40 AS WELL

This but also, using longer spring pads will have a huge impact on axle wrap.

I was able to watch the axle wrap on a dana 60 front axle by simply tightening the pinion nut:eek::rolleyes: The spring pads were roughly 3-4" long.

YA MY 60 HAD BAD WRAP EVEN IN 2WD WITH 215 75R15 ON IT:lol: ... I used big spring pads on a Heep but I still had to do a traction bar so I just go there now :hillbilly: even with 4D's and 170ish to 1 I have not killed one rear pack:steer:
