FJ40 rear axle complete - Rear Disc Brakes, Detroit Locker in Austin, TX.

I have a complete FJ40 rear axle that I hoped I would have time to install but I never did. I have come to realize that I am perfectly satisfied with my stock cruiser the way it was in 1975, and I am tired of stubbing my toes on this axle!

The axle for sale includes:

Detroit Locker (less than 500 miles since purchased new and installed in this axle)
4.11 3rd set up professionally at same time Detroit was installed
new (never seen the road) GM disc brake calipers (w/out e-brake)
caliper mounted using plate bracket
new rotors
new soft lines
new bearings
new seals

This is the whole shebang, everything brand new or nearly new, assembled and ready to bolt in. SUA perches still there, SOA perches welded on, 24" vent extension tube installed, brake lines are plumbed. Wildwood proportion valve new-in-box goes with it.

There are about $1200 worth of work and goodies here.
asking $850 or best offer.

Hate to split this up...it's a quick swap for a stock axle.

But I guess I'd take an offer on the entire 3rd.

I am interested, but would like to know more about the gear ratio. Is it compatable with a stock fj40 1975?
