Builds Fj40 re-rebuild!

Ordered a cage this morning. Going to see what my insurance company thinks of it if the overall damage. So I can’t do too much pertaining to the wreck…


Cut off my old shackle mount. They were just too long and sort of made it sketchy to drive. These lowered the rear about 1.5”. Going to probably a shorter shackle and pull one leaf out of the rear too. It’s bothered me how tall it was. Also will be frenching some bushings in the frame for the front to bring it down about 1.5” as well.

1.5" is a pretty good amount. What about going ahead with pursuing installing reverse eye leafs to go even lower yet? Maybe do it up front first to see how low it sits.
