After FJ40 was on lift for 3 speed removal (upgrading to H42), it appears something shifted and hood now is caught on radiator. Has anyone run into this before? Is this simply a radiator support rod adjustment? Based on schematic, there appears to be cushions, shims and spacers that I will need to investigate.

And check body mounts, those impact body alignment issues like this greatly.

So body mounts may have shifted? Interesting...only way is for tub to move slightly towards front.

Yeah, they can shift, and there can be shifting even as things around the rig are loosened up. Just some other things to check out as you progress through getting the hood binding relieved. GL.

Got it.Must be because the drive shafts were removed. This loosened up enough to move it forward a hair. I’ve got a VintageAir system mounted in front of radiator and a screw is hitting the inside of hood creating the binding.
