Fj40 parking brake backing plate bolts (1 Viewer)

Hey I’ve searched and can’t find the diagram to determine which location the short bolt goes into. There’s 4 bolts that hold backing plate on to transmission. Can someone remind me where the solitary shorter bolt goes? When facing toward front of vehicle from behind transfer case I recall it was top left. . But of course i didn’t take any notes . Thanks in advance

1, iirc it goes at the top left.

Yep. Found it in fsm page 3-66 . Short bolt upper left

If you happen to put a long bolt there does it by chance wreck the speedo ? Huh, who knew.....

That single bolt is responsible for the over the top frame off on our 72.
