Just saw this new listing on eBay. Opening bid of $49.99. This has got to be something someone here is looking for. I've got all the original tools except for the spark plug wrench for Miss Scarlet. So, you won't be bidding against me. eBay listing

Thats not 40 stuff.
Thats from a 60 or 62.
Ok, please tell me the difference. I see the Jack is black, but the wrenches, bag, screw driver, adjustable wrench and pliers are the same as my old '78 and the current '82.

The wrenches are close enough for my $$. I actually have that jack in my 40 so I can keep the expensive one in the garage. I have a lifetime stash of the 40-style tool bags.

You can get a repro from Indonesia for $39 on ebay, or one made by "Arteseans" (sic, LOL) for $69.

Some of he original ones are darker.

I went and checked out my stash. I have 3 of the smaller ones, one exactly like the darker one above. 2 of them are lighter. Neither of the lighter ones has the Teq logo. One says "Made in Japan". One does not. The one that does not has noticeably lighter canvas handles. These are roughly 15x4x3.

Then I have one that I use a lot that's very similar in style to the dark one with the Teq logo, but it's bigger: 15x4x4.5. It might be from a Hino truck or something.

Sorry, no pics at the moment.

The eBay kit looks to be an FJ60 bag with some FJ62 tools and assorted pieces from early FJ40 kits. The 200mm (8 inch) adjustable wrench, 150mm (6 inch) pliers, 10x12 wrench, lug wrench, screwdriver and short jack rod are from a FJ62 kit. The plug wrench and TEQ 14x17 wrench are from a 64-69 FJ40 kit, the recessed 8x10 wrench is from a 69-74 kit. The bent tube jack handle and jack look to be from an 80 series, jack part number 09111-60060.

The Toyota bag with S35 code originally would have come with these tools. The kit includes the 250mm (10 inch) adjustable wrench and 200mm (8 inch) pliers along with the 10x12 and 12x14 raised handle wrenches held with the red clip. The adjustable wrench, pliers, open-end wrenches and plug wrench are marked Toyota, and the screwdriver handle and lug wrench are marked Toyota Motor.

The FJ62 kit originally included the smaller 200mm adjustable wrench and 150mm pliers, and the single piece lug wrench with the blunt end. No wrench clip with this set. The screwdriver handle is marked Toyota, along with the adjustable wrench, pliers, open-end wrenches and plug wrench.

The FJ62 tool kit looks just like mine. Bought the FJ62 in 1993 and do not believe the original owner ever removed the jack or kit. It has the one piece lug wrench. Think I pulled a kit from a FJ60 in a wrecking yard. Remember it having the shorter multi piece jack handles to fit in the bag. Did the 60 series ever have clips like the 40 series to hold the handle rods. I do remember it had the two piece lug wrench.

That's probably the tool bag I have that only says Toyota on it. I have a 200mm adjustable wrench that says Toyota on it, and 150mm pliers that do not.

I can't tell if the pliers in that pic have a logo on them or not. Mine might just be some random pliers. (?)

You don't mention the tool used to press on the hub cap. I have one of those too.

There is also a spoon tool to pry off the hub caps shown here.

I have a 2-piece spark-plug wrench and various one-piece lug wrenches, like this and one that is all black, and probably a 2-piece one.

I don't think so. I think they all came with the 3-piece jack rod set that was in the tool bag with the tools.
