I am looking for an inner hatch cover plate. Please PM me if you have one for sale. Just not a rusty disaster. It should be in serviceable condition.
Thanks
Dyno

Have one for you. Pretty good shape, wonky paint job. 7 of 8 fasteners. $75 plus ship.

Cheers

I did not know there were two covers. The truck is a '66.

What year is your hatch? There are two different covers.

John ,

I was not aware that there were different covers for the 40 liftgate. Could you elaborate on the differences / year please. Thanks.

Cheers

Thanks for the measurements. mine is slightly different in several dimensions.

The difference is near the T handle area. I can check the microfiche tomorrow unless some beats me to it. Parts manual for a 1966 will help also.

my horizontal hole to hole measurements are closer to 8.75"

Here is the info;
From frame #FJ40 36364 2/65 p/n 67129-60010
3/69-7/72 p/n 67107-60010
7/72-1/75 p/n 67107-90300
The main difference I see is they enlarged the off set of the raised area by the T handle. So an early panel might not fit on a later hatch.
I pulled some out so the difference can be seen.

So the lower panels in the picture are the early version? I see the offset you are talking about, it looks like the 2 versions would clash. Thanks John for the enlightenment!

Learn something every day. Good info to have.

I am going to hold off on a purchase for now. I need to dig out my other parts to see what offset I need. I think it will be the earlier panel, as mine is a 3/66 production.
