fj40 Fuel Sending Unit OHM readings needed (1 Viewer)

Help,

I have a 71 fj40. I need to find out what the OHM range is for full and empty for the stock fuel sending unit.

I'm getting crazy readings while trying to read it with and OHM Meter.

for 40 series:

float position reisistance
Full-- 17+/- 2.1 Ohms
1/2 -- 45+/- 4.5 Ohms
Empty-- 120+/-6.5 Ohms

Per the FSM

may be slightly different for a 71 though, but I don't think it is. Edit: its the 55 series that differs at 1/2 full
