You can run without them, Mark who posted above sells what I believe is a kit to remove dust shield. For all stock and not much Offroad the dust shield is nice but, if Offroad is planned, I’d run the elimination kit to keep rocks out.

Mark, brake junction is bolted.

Casey, thanks, I noticed you can remove and use the spacer, I want to keep stock if possible, it will probably never see offroad .
