SOLD FJ40 front axle hubs (pair) 1974

This came out of a 08/1974 FJ40. Been sitting on the shelve over 30 years.

I have never seen an octagon-shaped spindle before. But I think I have seen a layout of an FJ80 knuckle overhaul kit that included a octagon-shaped spindle gasket.

It also looks like the centering lip on the front face of the spindle (to center the dust shield) might have been ground off. I’m going to call on @3_puppies and @Redgrrr for confirmation of this part.

never seen ones like the pics on a 40 series, never had an 80 series apart.

Maybe the seller attached the wrong photos? He is advertising Hubs not spindles.
