Hey Guys,
It has been a long time since I have posted or spent any time on Mud. Unfortunately it is because i have not had the time to work on my cruiser. My kids are also at an age that I want to get them into off-roading and the 40 is just not a great family wheeler at this point....Turns out seatbelts are a good thing with kids in the car......I am at a point where sadly, I have to let this project go to someone else.
Here are the details:
1970 FJ40 Landcruiser
AZ Cruiser for as long as I know
No rust and the tub is in great shape
SBC Conversion (Chevy 305)
Ron Davis Radiator
Toyota 4 speed transmission
Front Shackle Reverse
Disc Brake Conversion (Front and rear)
4” safari spring lift
33” tires on 15” wheels (lots of tread but a few years on them)
Centerforce clutch (only a couple dozen miles ago)
Con-Ferr long range fuel tank mounted in frame
Electric Fuel Pump
Super sweet custom overhead console (hahaha)
Have just about everything needed for a Saginaw power steering conversion. That was my next project for the rig and haven’t gotten to it yet.
It is a project for sure. It ran great when I parked it and I realized the other day it has been way too long since I have taken her for a spin so I just rebuilt the carb. Upholstery not in great shape and almost all the guages work.
Updating the price to $8,000....I am open to offers though so if someone local is looking make me an offer.
If you are interested you can PM me. located in Gilbert.
