FJ40s never had the DC, but the early 60s did... is this toyota? If so, I may be interested...

Hi,

It’s definitely aftermarket.

It was supposed to connect to a 78 transfer case. I probably should have mentioned that the 40 was spring over with a 1995 Chevy 350, sm420 stock fj40 transfer with the rear pinion pointed up toward the transfer. because of the extreame angle and short distance he used a double cardan joint. He bought two of these joints but only made one drive shaft.

Might want to measure the size of the bolt holes as well. All the Landcruiser DC joints were 11mm. The early mini-truck DC looks very similar, but only uses an 8mm bolt.

Yours looks like an 8, but I can’t be sure from the pics.
