FJ40 door card repair help (1 Viewer)

77 FJ40 8/77 production door cards with some wear need to repair or replace. Can anyone give me some good tips on how to repair the damage along the edges and flat section that you can see in the pics? I’m sure theres a good way to repair this but i haven’t thought of it. Input appreciated. If theres a cost effective way to replace i would be interested in that as well.

I opted for a qulality reproduction set of cards. $160 to my door. From SMS Headliners Steve Bennett. I think their standard option is black vinyl, but I asked for charcoal grey and they look great next to my seats. Pics in the thread linked below.
