In the back of my newly acquired 78 FJ40, under a pile of stuff, I found the defrost guide vents. Looks like one of them is broken, and the guide/directional diverter has separated from the front. There are five holes along the back where it looks like plastic rivets used to hold them together, which are now gone. Any tips or tricks to stick these back together? JB weld or some other product? Also, any way to make these look a little newer after the fix? Soapy water, then just some plastic restorer? Any specific brands you recommend?
