Fj40 Chevy in-line 6 250ci swap (1 Viewer)

I feel as if I’ve searched all I can lol! Hep needed!

Any leads or ideas on headers for Chevy 250ci setup? I purchased some for a Chevy truck but can’t clear the steering with the front set. Any suggestions or links would be helpful!

I ordered a set of short headers for a Chevy 292 which I believe are the same from 12bolt.com. I have not installed them yet and my 292 is not in a land cruiser, so I cannot speak to the fitment in your situation. Just sharing in the event these headers are different than what you have. My '79 Nova had a head integral to the exhaust manifold? Only year iirc.

A prior po put a 250 in mine and kept the stock exhaust manifold. I believe that the intake/exhaust make my 250 a car engine, I read somewhere the truck engines had an intake manifold for a 2bbl carb
