I was working on my friends fj40 and liked it so much I went out and bought my own 1967 in great condition. But the drum brakes suck. Does anyone know how to convert to disc and dual master cylinder with booster using more modern and cheaper toyota truck junkyard parts? dave (captain gadget)

Welcome. You find the search forum function on the top very helpful and there is alot of info in the technical links. Thats at the very top of any page.

Your '67 will be harder to convert using '76-'78FJ40, later 40 or minitruck parts.
The '67 does not have an inner axle seal, but a bronze bushing that must be removed. You might be better off time and money wise to buy and convert a later axle, then swap the whole thing in.
