FJ40 79 Body on a 72 Frame (1 Viewer)

Hi, I was working on a 1972 restore and the floor of the 72 body is bad. I came across a 79 body for sale close to me that is good condition. I know there was a body / frame change at that point but wondering what needs to happen to place the 79 body on the 72 frame? Also the body does not come with the front end nor the doors. Will these parts match up with the 79 body?

Thanks for the help and sorry if this a repeat question, I did look but didn't see anything specific on my question.

Short answer is no. The 79 frame is different with the gas tank below the body. Also the are fewer body mounting points on the 79. However I’m sure someone has modified/overcome the differences.
