Hey all,

I just put in some Aussie lockers front and rear on my '76 fj40 and i'm doing reassembly. my drivers side front disk brake only had one caliper bolt when i was tearing down (yiKes!).

For the reassembly i ordered replacement bolts but they're just a hair too small. the bolts are 084-10A from sor.com, labeled as caliper bolts for '75-'80. but as you can see from the photo they're slightly too small (and smaller than the hole too). Anyone know what bolts i might need for this?

thanks!
Eric

Welcome.

Well, stock would be 12x1.25 thread.

Post up a pic of the head of the bolt on the left.

I am betting that it is ASE and not metric; someone jacked the threads on the ear of the knuckle and drilled it out and tapped it for .50"-20.

the bold was SAE! (has the three triangle lines on top). Swung over to ACE and found it was a 1/2" find thread. must have been tapped!
