Can I put a master cylinder from an fj80, mini truck etc. designed for disc/drum brakes into my 1974 Fj40 with drum brakes at all 4 corners?

My stock master cylinder is leaking where it connects with the brake booster. I eventually want to put disc in the front but that is probably a few years down the road.

a disc brake master won't work well with an all drum setup
the disc brake master does not have the residual valve used in drum brake masters to keep some fluid in the system so the brake pedal doesn't need to push excess fluid to apply the brakes

brakes are a critical component, don't scimp on them

That makes sense.
I figured there was a reason I didn't see this come up in my search.
Looks like I will replace with OEM master cylinder.
Thank you
