Just got a 2014 FJ and the driver side seat adjustment knob was broken so I got a new one. Searched online for an easy way to attach but couldn't find anything. Struggled for 45 mins or so then came up with a simple fix. Video below. Hope it makes your life easier.

You just put the clip on the knob first then push it on.
