I am trying to replace my fuel filter and my book says to depressurize the system. I am not able to locate the right part to do that. Anyone have any suggestions?

it really does help to depressurive. Besides, it takes about 2 seconds. Just turn on the beast and pull the fuse to the Fuel Injection and it will die. Then take off the gas tank cap and you're good to go. Oh and as silvia said, do put towels under the filter to catch the fuel in it.

All I do is pull off the gas cap and I'm good to go. I always do it on a cold engine too so that no pressure has built up in the system. All I ever get is some drippage from the fuel lines and that's it.

Thanks for the resaponse. Matt

i like to just hose everything with gas

The 62’s have a pressurized fuel system so don’t forget to depressurize before you start! Do a search for Fuel Filter in this forum for some tips.
