FJ-60 Hood Pins (1 Viewer)

My hood popped up while driving the other day. Lucky I was not going fast and on a quiet street. Now I will feel safer with some hood pins. Anyone know of a source for some nice hood pins? The stuff I have seen is for the euro racer junk. I remember in the 70's my buddies muscle cars having some nice hood pins. Thanks

On some of the 60 series that have come thru the shop, I have noticed that the latch mechanism that holds the hood down, could use some lubrication, as they stick. Also, some have become loose, and out of adjustment over the years. I would look at this also. When ever I have a truck in the shop now, that is one more little thing that I remember to look at while I am under the hood.
