I have a friend in another state who has a set of OME shocks bought for a 76 FJ 40 with a 3" lift but were never installed. I was wondering if I could use these on my 60 that also has a 3" lift. Are the shock mounts and shock pin sizes the same on a 60 and 40?

40s use an eye on both ends of the front shocks, 60s use a threaded stud on the top of the fronts.

So I can only use the rear shocks right?

had a buddy who was in the same situation that cut the hole off on the 60 and welded a bolt on there and used 40 shocks. Not recommending you do that but he did. Good luck

You might be able to use the rears, if the length is right and the eye is the right diameter. I can't help you there.
